What changes the plan
Start with exact pickup and return timestamps, including the delivery address. Ask each operator to quote that same interval. A weekly package is not necessarily seven individual daily rentals, and a month may be defined differently in different offers. Get the period written out rather than inferring it from a headline rate.
Put rental charges, delivery, taxes, mileage terms and optional extras in separate rows. Keep a refundable security amount outside the rental-cost comparison, but include it in your cash or card-limit planning. Do not subtract an assumed deposit refund to make an unconfirmed offer look cheaper.
Compare the final amount only after the exact car and inclusions match. If dates may change, ask how extensions are priced and whether the original package carries over. Save the written revision before accepting extra days; the initial advertisement is not a record of your updated booking.
